On Saturday, Ariana Grande debuted her new bangs in her Instagram Stories as she promotes the upcoming release of her album Eternal Sunshine. In the video, she models the cut and her long honey blonde hair, standing against a blank wall. It’s half up and half down, held back by a black ribbon. She was wearing a purple top and pearl earrings, and had her eyes lined with heavy lashes and winged liner.

In the lower right corner of the video, she placed a countdown to her album release.

Grande only announced her seventh studio album in January. It will be her first release since 2020, when she put out her hit record Positions. Since the reveal, she’s been slowly posting the titles of the songs to come, and dropped her single, “Yes, And?” on January 12.

This weekend, she also shared photos from a listening party with her friends and family, writing a gushing tribute to them in the caption.

“a very happy, emotional and special day that i’ll cherish always,” she wrote. “i had the joy of sharing eternal sunshine with a few of my babies, in the space where i made it. i wish more (or all) of you could have been there (asking in advance, that you please be happy for the people who were able to be!)… i couldn’t wait another moment, so i didn’t. my heart is overwhelmed, to say the least. thank you for traveling (or for zooming in), for your love, for your ears, your hearts and for always being the human embodiment of love. you mean everything.”

This is a big year for Grande. In addition to her album, her long-anticipated movie Wicked will be in theaters in November. She has been working on the production for some time, playing Glinda in the adaptation of the popular Broadway musical.
