Blake Lively has spent most of her fourth pregnancy out of the public eye, but the actress got dressed up and showed off her red carpet maternity style to support her husband Ryan Reynolds at last night’s American Cinematheque Awards in Beverly Hills. Lively leaned into autumnal metallics, wearing a sleeveless, pleated print gown with turquoise earrings. Her signature long blonde hair was styled down in soft waves.
On the red carpet, she posed with Reynolds, staring adoringly at him. The two have not specified their fourth child’s due date.
In September, Lively acknowledged her pregnancy and shared personal photos to deter the paparazzi.
“Here are photos of me pregnant in real life so the 11 guys waiting outside my home for a 🦄 sighting will leave me alone,” she wrote. “You freak me and my kids out. Thanks to everyone else for all the love and respect and for continuing to unfollow accounts and publications who share photos of children. You have all the power against them. Reynolds and Lively don’t know whether their fourth child will be their first son or their fourth daughter. They kept their baby’s sex a surprise on purpose. “I don’t know [the sex of the baby], we never find out ’til [they’re born],” Reynolds said on the Today Show recently. “I know girls, so I’m kind of hoping that, but I’m ready for whatever happens.”
He added that he grew up as the youngest of four boys. “We were just arsonists and firemen,” he said of himself and his brothers.
