This weekend, Lizzo made her debut as a host on Saturday Night Live and a return performance as the night’s musical guest, pulling double duty. Of course, she knocked her opening monologue out of the park. But then she added, “It could be the TikTok where I said, ‘I am pregnant with Chris Evans’ baby.’ It’s called manifesting, okay?”

Lizzo explained a bit more about what it was like to be nervous hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live.
“I know it’s shocking that I’m nervous because I’m the one who said, ‘I just took a DNA test, turns out I’m 100% that b-tch,’” Lizzo explained. “Well, to be completely honest, I’m really like 50 percent ‘that b-tch,’ 10 percent ‘boss b-tch,’ and 40 percent ‘flute playing, band nerd b-tch.’”
She added, “But I’m thrilled to be hosting this particular episode, especially because I do love tonight’s musical guest: Me!”
